EHS Manager

Spreetail is seeking an EHS Manager in our Greenwood, Indiana fulfillment center to develop and execute safety programs, fostering a proactive safety culture where compliance is a daily priority.

Responsibilities

• Own injury metrics, including ORIR and LTI rates, partnering with Operations to drive corrective actions.
• Investigate and document OSHA recordables, engaging Operations throughout.
• Maintain 95%+ safety training completion across all associates and departments.
• Conduct monthly safety audits, tracking open items to closure and demonstrating quarter-over-quarter improvement.
• Ensure emergency readiness on every shift, including current response plans and regular drills.
• Proactively manage workers’ comp by reporting claims on time and reducing claim costs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of safety or EHS experience in progressively responsible roles, preferably in an OSHA 1910 General Industry environment.
• Formal regulatory experience, including OSHA 300 logs and complaint response.
• Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including nights and weekends.
• Hands-on technical skills in conducting Job Hazard Analyses, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Ability to own and execute integrated safety programs independently.
• Comfortable spending a significant portion of every shift on the warehouse floor.
