This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role for a Global Benefits Manager at Canva, a design company redefining how the world experiences design.
The role is based in Sydney, and the ideal candidate will call it home. The company has a hybrid way of working, giving employees flexibility to work remotely and come together on campus for meaningful in-person collaboration and connection.
The Global Benefits Manager will take ownership of Canva's global benefits portfolio, managing established programs, delivering planned improvements, and making practical decisions that balance cost, local needs, and the employee experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning day-to-day delivery of the global benefits portfolio, working with regional teams to resolve issues and support local needs.
- Managing brokers and providers, negotiating renewals, and tracking budgets.
- Delivering planned benefit launches and changes across countries.
- Using benchmarking, costs, feedback, and usage data to recommend improvements.
- Working closely with Finance, Legal, Payroll, and People teams.
- Keeping policies, communications, and processes clear and up to date.
- Supporting broader reward partnering where needed.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing benefits across multiple countries, including budgets, broker relationships, and renewal negotiations. They will be able to manage several projects at once, make thoughtful choices about priorities, and adapt when circumstances change.
