Job Overview Assists in maintaining high levels of accuracy and performance to meet store order needs while using safe work practices.
Responsibilities
- Compile store orders from a tablet or pick ticket, including item locations, descriptions, and quantities.
- Gather merchandise and ensure proper placement into totes or boxes.
- Load totes or boxes of merchandise, up to 30-50 pounds, using safe lifting techniques.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety guidelines.
- Perform general housekeeping to ensure the working area and aisles are clear of debris.
- Follow routine assignments that require some problem resolution for the distribution function.
- Match daily tasks with company-defined standard operating procedures and scientific methods to ensure best practices.
- Enter data for inventory management.
Requirements
- Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- 0-2 years of work experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
