We are seeking a Hospitality & Utilities Attendant to join our team at Sodexo in Canberra, ACT.
Salary: $93,000 - $107,000 + Superannuation Roster: BIBO local from Canberra, ACT on a 14:7 roster Employment Type: Full-time opportunity with long-term career growth
As a Hospitality & Utilities Attendant, you will play a key role in keeping our sites functioning and well-maintained for village residents' safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the kitchen and dining room service areas, including food handling and preparation
- Provide customer service in the tavern or retail shop
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas and common areas
- Work 14 days on, 7 days off, with 10–11-hour shifts in a physically active role
Requirements:
- Ability to travel safely to and from work
- Physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to 11 hours)
- National Police Check required, dated within the last 6 months
- Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
- Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential
