Description
As a production technician at Vattenfall's Åsele location, you will participate in various maintenance and operational tasks at the Stenkulla and Åsele hydroelectric power stations along the Ångermanälven river.
You will work in a team consisting of a team leader and four production technicians, performing tasks such as analysis, problem-solving, troubleshooting, routine checks, maintenance, and improvement projects.
In the future, you may also take on coordination responsibilities and assume the role of BAS-U during shutdowns and projects.
The position is full-time, and after an introduction period, you will be part of our on-call rotation according to a rolling schedule.
We are looking for a versatile and engaged colleague with electrical engineering background, preferably with experience in production or operation of hydroelectric power plants or similar large-scale industrial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in maintenance and operational tasks at hydroelectric power stations
- Perform analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance
- Participate in improvement projects
- Potentially take on coordination responsibilities and BAS-U role
Requirements:
- Electrical engineering background (high school or higher)
- Experience in production or operation of hydroelectric power plants or similar large-scale industrial operations (preferred)
- Proficiency in Swedish and English
- IT skills
- Driver's license (B)
