Description
We are seeking a Firefighting Engineer to join our team in India, working on projects in Spain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out firefighting engineering designs for various building projects. You will work closely with other engineers to perform calculations and deliver high-quality technical design drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on delivering high-quality technical design drawings and specifications to required regulations
- Contribute to technical solutions on projects
- Initiate and participate in design peer reviews
- Ensure internal quality procedures are followed
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments in firefighting engineering
- Attend project meetings with various teams in Bengaluru
- Act as project lead on selected projects, managing delivery of high-quality multi-disciplinary projects
- Design, review, and deliver technical fire protection engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks to secure the best commercial return
- Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met
- Participate in internal multi-discipline knowledge sharing initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with BIM/CAD software packages and Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to produce detailed drawings from engineers' basic sketches
- Excellent working knowledge of REVIT Software (version 2021 and above)
- Ability to create and modify fire and life safety drawings/models based on NFPA, FM-global, and local standards
- Experience with MagiCAD for AutoCAD/Revit is desirable
- Excellent command of written and verbal English
