Job Summary: As a Kitchen Assistant at ibis Budget BH Minascentro, you will assist with food preparation and support kitchen activities, ensuring high-quality food and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, cleaning, cutting, and organizing ingredients
- Support pastry production (sweets, cakes, etc.) when needed
- Check food validity and proper storage
- Help with buffet setup and replenishment, coffee breaks, and employee meals, focusing on presentation
- Participate in area control and team briefings
- Maintain personal hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness according to food safety standards
- Represent the brand's values and contribute to guest experience personalization, sharing information with the reception team
- Implement sustainable practices related to selective waste collection and conscious water and energy use
- Perform other related tasks
Requirements:
- Basic education
- Basic knowledge of cooking and food safety practices
- Experience in the field
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Basic knowledge of cooking
- Basic English
Work Schedule: 5x2 shift (12:12 to 22:00 or 07:12 to 17:00)
