Description
What you'll do
You'll be working on the development of the middle console and kinematic parts in every Porsche. To achieve the highest quality and functionality, we use modern simulation methods in fluid dynamics (CFD) and structural dynamics (FEM).
- Prepare, perform, and evaluate CFD and FEM simulations
- Optimize air-guiding components and structural components
- Develop our simulation and optimization methods
- Automate simulation processes using scripts
What you need
- A technical or natural science degree, such as mechanical engineering, simulation technology, physics, computer science, or a similar field (at least in the 3rd semester or in the gap year between Bachelor and Master)
- Interest in fluid dynamics/structural dynamics
- Ideally, experience with CAE software (Siemens Simcenter Star-CCM+, LS-DYNA, Hypermesh, etc.)
- Ideally, programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, MATLAB, etc.
- Ideally, experience with KI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Self-motivated, structured, and creative working style
- Proactive mindset
Why this matters
You'll have the opportunity to gain experience in both CFD and FEM disciplines or expand your existing knowledge, as well as contribute to the automation and development of simulation processes and methods.
