Description
The Parchmore Group is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join their Pharmacist team working at both sites. The Clinical Pharmacist is a patient-facing role that involves using clinical skills to improve the health of the local community. This includes managing long-term conditions, supporting hospital discharge prescribing arrangements, providing specific advice for those on multiple medications, clinical audits to improve patient care, and supporting the practices to develop the clinical pharmacist role. Clinical supervision and mentorship will be provided.
The Parchmore Group is a group practice that strives to provide high-quality medical care and offers a personal approach. They have two sites: Parchmore Medical Centre in Thornton Heath and Haling Park Medical Practice in South Croydon. The practice team consists of a large non-clinical team, Practice Pharmacists, Physicians Associates, 5 Practice Nurses, 3 HCAs, 5 Partners, and 10 Salaried GPs.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience as a pharmacist, demonstrated within a practice portfolio, and an awareness of common acute and long-term conditions that are likely to be seen in general practice. The ideal candidate will have completed an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. They may also hold or be working towards the independent prescribing qualification.
The Parchmore Group offers a competitive package with support for development.
