As a Primary Care and Specialty Sales Consultant Hybrid (SC), you will be accountable for implementing sales strategies for an approved Cardiorenal product and driving launch activities for an anticipated launch for menopause.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Building and developing professional relationships with primary care physicians, endocrinologists, and pharmacy staff
- Driving demand, clinical education, and sales by developing, coordinating, and implementing a strategic business plan
- Leveraging expertise and knowledge of the diabetes and menopause marketplace to anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges
- Providing relevant input to commercial colleagues on strategic and tactical planning
- Developing and implementing effective customer-specific business plans
- Prioritizing time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of physician specialists
- Understanding and meeting the needs of assigned customers while adhering to Bayer's ethics and compliance standards
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A bachelor's degree
- A proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred qualifications include:
- An advanced degree
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales
- In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or menopause disease states
- Product launch experience
- Strong analytical and computer capabilities
- Virtual sales experience
The salary range for this role is $124,320 - $186,480 per year, with additional compensation possible through bonuses or commissions. Benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
