Samsara, a recently public company listed on the NYSE under the ticker symbol IOT, is seeking a highly motivated people manager for its Operations Program Manager (OPM) team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in New Product Introduction (NPI) within the hardware manufacturing space.
The Manager, Operations Program Management will lead a global Operations Program Management team based in North America and Asia to develop and launch new hardware products. The role involves owning end-to-end operational execution of hardware product manufacturing from concept through mass production and sustained volume. The Manager will serve as the primary operations liaison, aligning and communicating across Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing comprehensive program plans, managing schedules, budgets, and proactively mitigating risks to ensure on-time and on-cost delivery.
- Defining and executing manufacturing strategies, collaborating with internal teams and external partners for factory readiness, capacity, and process development.
- Driving cost reduction initiatives and ensuring robust quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Championing, role modeling, and embedding Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.
