Description
We are seeking a Supply Chain Trainee to join our dynamic and international team at Eurostar International. As a Supply Chain Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain team in their daily activities and continuous improvement projects.
The Supply Chain team is responsible for managing the inventory of parts needed for the maintenance and availability of our train fleet. In an international and technical environment, the team contributes directly to the operational performance and reliability of the Eurostar service.
As a Supply Chain Trainee, your main responsibilities will include:
- Forecasting part needs to anticipate consumption and ensure availability
- Creating forecasts for orders of repairable parts and tracking consumption
- Contributing to the management and optimization of inventory levels, including internal and partner stock levels
- Identifying and analyzing overstock situations to optimize and reduce unused inventory
- Providing operational support to the Supply Chain team, including analyzing forecast reliability, updating tracking files, and preparing internal meetings
- Processing and analyzing Supply Chain data to identify trends, measure performance, and propose improvement areas
- Participating in various continuous improvement projects within the team
This experience will allow you to develop a concrete and operational understanding of Supply Chain within an international and industrial environment.
