Join the team at Target as a Starbucks Barista! As a Barista, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Your day will be filled with creating a welcoming atmosphere, crafting handcrafted beverages, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted beverages and managing food quality and freshness
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all food safety and OSHA guidelines
- Greet guests, answer questions, and resolve issues in a friendly and efficient manner
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive attitude
- Execute food and beverage processes, including replenishment, inventory management, and data accuracy
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout your shift
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards
- Follow all food safety requirements, including monitoring and recording temperature-sensitive food items
Requirements:
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred, but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to communicate effectively and operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
