Description
We are seeking a Patient Administrator to join the team at Park Hospital in Nottingham, part of Circle Health Group. This bank role involves working on an 'as and when required' basis to support staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey
- Following Circle Health Group best practice process maps to provide an efficient, professional, and standard service to patients, visitors, consultants, and staff
- Dealing with patient queries efficiently and professionally
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Approving electronic bookings and updating bookings received via email
- Maintaining knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and ensuring appropriate measures are taken
- Complying with all relevant mandatory training
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
- Proficient in using a PC, including software and systems
- Basic financial awareness
- Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment is beneficial
Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.79 per hour, depending on experience, training, and qualifications.
