Mechanical Development Engineer

Honda is seeking a Mechanical Development Engineer to join their team in Raymond, Ohio. As a Mechanical Development Engineer, you will bring chassis components and technologies into vehicles, ensuring marketability, reliability, regulatory, profitability, manufacturing, and test requirements and targets are achieved.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering and 0-2 years of related experience or equivalent level of education and experience. Experience with testing instrumentation and calibration is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Gather global hardware specs and compile a comprehensive plan for application to future development models
• Work with departmental function groups to guarantee harmonious hardware maturation schedules
• Support investigation of hardware concerns and develop corrective hardware plans
• Conduct experimental testing to determine hardware design and spec
• Report the status of hardware maturation to function management
