Description
As a Frontend-focused Developer, you will join an agile team led by a Delivery Manager. Your primary responsibility will be developing the user interface for their quality-centric eCommerce platform, which serves millions of users worldwide.
You will collaborate with other developers and have the opportunity to influence the platform's design, enhance the team's skillset, and drive its evolution in line with the future roadmap.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with modern Javascript frameworks and libraries such as React, NextJS, and some experience with NodeJS for high-performance sites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the user interface for the eCommerce platform
- Collaborate with other developers to influence the platform's design
- Enhance the team's skillset and drive the platform's evolution
- Provide development support to internal users
- Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours cover during peak trading periods
- Drive the continuous improvement of the team's processes and working practices
