Description
Boeing India is seeking an Associate Java Developer to join their team, focusing on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization. This role involves estimating user stories and tasks, contributing to backlog refinement meetings, working with the product owner to confirm code and acceptance tests, raising impediments and risks, updating task status, ensuring change requests are treated correctly, developing working software, designing for testability, prototyping, and evaluating technical feasibility.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate user stories and tasks with required accuracy
- Contribute to backlog refinement meetings
- Work with the product owner to confirm code and acceptance tests
- Raise impediments and risks
- Update task status daily
- Ensure change requests are treated correctly
- Develop working software towards team objectives
- Deliver working software according to quality standards
- Design for testability
- Work on prototyping and evaluating technical feasibility
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in software development using Java and Spring framework
- Hands-on experience with web application frameworks, microservice-oriented architecture, and REST APIs
- Knowledge of SQL technology, version control tools like GIT, and NoSQL technologies
- Experience with container platforms, continuous integration practices, and front-end frameworks
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic Python using Django framework
