Description
Join the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames as a Commercial Lead for Digital & IT, leading and delivering core DDAT requirements and developing procurement strategy plans.
The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert for the technology category, driving the DDAT service plan, managing market engagement, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure exceptional value for money in commissioning spend and contract performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and management of procurement and contracts
- Commissioning and supplier relationship management
- Championing new digital ways of working
- Managing a pipeline of procurement and contracts
- Providing periodic cover for the Commercial Manager
- Monitoring data and developing insights to uncover new opportunities
- Drafting detailed governance reports
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of practical experience specifically procuring Digital, Data, and Technology solutions, with proven ability to draft and review complex commercial contracts, and excellent numerical and literacy skills.
