Description
We are seeking a skilled Model Maker to join our team at Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team. As a Model Maker, you will work closely with the model shop staff and Aero department to develop our wind tunnel model and testing program.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the model shop staff and Aero department to develop wind tunnel models and testing programs
- Investigate new technologies and concepts for parts and procedures
- Communicate effectively with external groups to ensure timely testing of parts
- Execute day-to-day tasks with attention to detail and a 'can-do' attitude
- Manage timelines to ensure high-quality models and parts are delivered on time
Requirements:
- Previous automotive experience, ideally in F1 or engineering
- Strong understanding of high-quality part manufacture and model assembly techniques
- Mechanical systems appreciation
- Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to fluctuating demands
- Ability to scope tasks thoroughly and work under pressure
- Professional and competent teamwork skills
- Availability to work in Milton Keynes and at our wind tunnel facility in Bedford
