Home Infusion Nurse

As a Home Infusion Nurse with Coram CVS Specialty Infusion, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in patients' homes
• Use your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients recover in the comfort of their own home
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment
• Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas
• Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills to interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists and other partners
• Challenge your clinical nursing skills with continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Schedule and Travel Time

• Full-time position working a flexible Monday to Friday schedule, primarily during the day, but can go into the evenings at times
• Participation in telephonic on-call rotation of 1-2 shifts per year, with no in-person visits when on-call
• Coverage area is Boston and surrounding areas with drives of up to about an hour at times

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current license in the state of Massachusetts
• Minimum one year of nursing experience and one year of experience working with peripheral IVs
• Current CPR certification
• Valid and current driver's license and auto insurance
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of nursing experience
• Home healthcare experience

Education

• RN Diploma, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing

Pay and Benefits

• The typical pay range for this role is $32.01 - $68.55 per hour
