Description
Business Unit Vattenfall Power Solutions is seeking an Avfallsingenjör (Waste Engineer) to join the Avfall & Miljö group. As a Waste Engineer, you will work on complex projects related to nuclear power, including decommissioning, new construction, and development projects such as hydrogen production.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, quality-assuring, and maintaining documentation
- Interpreting and evaluating requirements from authorities
- Conducting investigations
- Evaluating alternative processes for decommissioning
- Developing and optimizing waste management
- Working with new nuclear power
You will be part of a team of 11 colleagues with diverse expertise in areas such as waste management, chemical engineering, systems engineering, energy systems, mechanics, physics, electrical engineering, environmental technology, and vehicle technology.
The ideal candidate has:
- Academic education or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience in the energy and/or construction industry, particularly with large complex projects
- Strong experience with waste-related issues
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal
- Valid driver's license (B)
