Description
We are seeking an Avfallsingenjör (Waste Engineer) to join our Avfall & Miljö group within Business Unit Vattenfall Power Solutions. As a Waste Engineer, you will work on exciting and complex projects, primarily within nuclear power, focusing on waste management and disposal.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, quality-assuring, and maintaining documentation
- Interpreting and evaluating regulatory requirements
- Conducting investigations and analyzing data
- Evaluating alternative processes for decommissioning and waste management
- Optimizing waste handling and treatment
- Collaborating with teams across different disciplines
We require:
- Academic education or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience in the energy or construction industry, particularly with large-scale projects
- Strong expertise in waste management and environmental issues
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal
- Valid driver's license (B)
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in chemistry, waste management, or nuclear safety
- Familiarity with decommissioning or licensing processes in nuclear power
