Job Overview
As Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day operations across North American locations, managing inbound receiving, storage, inventory control, kitting, and outbound shipments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, cycle counting, kitting, and outbound fulfillment.
- Own inventory accuracy and asset tracking for infrastructure hardware, maintaining clear chain of custody.
- Plan and execute domestic freight, coordinate international shipments, and resolve exceptions.
- Manage third-party logistics providers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
- Coordinate with data center operations, hardware engineering, procurement, and security teams.
- Operate reverse logistics for returns, RMAs, and end-of-life equipment.
- Build and document standard operating procedures and train staff and vendors.
- Maintain compliance with safety, hazardous materials, export control, and customs requirements.
- Define and report on operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Support capacity planning for warehouse space, staffing, and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience managing warehouse or logistics operations for physical goods.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management or inventory management systems.
- Experience managing third-party logistics providers or carriers.
- Working knowledge of domestic freight and documentation.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements for shipping and storing IT equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build processes and keep operations running reliably.
- Ability to travel to warehouse and data center sites in the US as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling data center or enterprise IT hardware.
- Experience with international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and export control requirements.
- Experience with secure chain-of-custody programs and asset tagging.
- Experience directly managing warehouse staff or contract labor.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems.
- Experience with lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methods.
- Forklift certification or experience overseeing material handling equipment operations.
Compensation
The annual compensation range for this role is $405,000-$485,000 USD.
