Description
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office seeks a HEO Videographer (Social Media Content Producer) to create high-quality, accessible graphic and video content for ministerial and departmental digital channels.
You will be responsible for producing compelling visual communications for domestic and international audiences, supporting ministerial engagement, major campaigns, and emergency communications when required.
Key responsibilities:
- Create exceptional video content for FCDO social media channels
- Generate, pitch, and develop creative ideas that support strategic communications objectives
- Plan, shoot, and edit both reactive and premium long-form video formats
- Travel regularly to capture content on location
- Build strong relationships with communications and policy colleagues
- Use audience insight and performance data to continuously optimise content
Essential criteria:
- Strong understanding of short-form social content and longer-form digital video formats
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro
- Excellent technical knowledge of videography and photography
- Demonstrable experience across the full production process
- Outstanding organisational skills and experience delivering multiple projects in fast-paced environments
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently
The successful candidate will be a British citizen and will need to attain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
The role offers a salary of £40,000 per year, a Civil Service Pension, 25 days annual leave, and 9 days public and privilege holidays per annum.
