LSEG and Microsoft are collaborating on next-generation data, analytics, and cloud infrastructure solutions. As part of this partnership, you will oversee data analysis activities across cloud consumption, leveraging analytical and technical skills to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and continually improve the cloud consumption model, providing feedback on data inputs and assumptions.
- Ensure data stores and model inputs adhere to best practices for curation and maintenance of accurate data points.
- Evaluate and forecast cloud consumption, developing reports for various forums.
- Model cloud consumption, including scenario and sensitivity analysis, to inform decision-making and identify gaps and trends.
- Optimise cloud consumption models across product development and technology application migration.
- Track and validate actual delivery performance against assumptions and migration timelines.
- Drive greater transparency across delivery teams to inform reporting and improve root cause analysis.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.
- Experience creating sophisticated, long-term cost models from multiple perspectives.
- Analytical skills to interpret usage data and analytics.
- Technical skills: Excel and Power BI essential; Python and Databricks beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Problem-solving skills and curiosity about identifying issues and providing solutions.
