Description
Join Cisco's Cloud and Data Center Engineering team, a collaborative group of engineers, architects, and operations specialists. You will design, implement, and optimise Cisco's cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure with a strong focus on network engineering and data center operations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based and data center network solutions
- Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and security teams to develop detailed specifications for new cloud-based products, services, and applications
- Planning and executing compute and storage migration activities for data center relocation or consolidation projects
- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining virtualization platforms
- Building and maintaining enterprise storage systems
To qualify, you need:
- A completed degree in Computer Science or Engineering, combined with 5+ years of experience in network engineering or data center operations
- Experience in deploying, administering, and operating virtualization platforms
- Experience in building, operating, tuning, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Server environments
- Experience in enterprise storage systems and advanced storage architectures
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with IPv4/IPv6 networking and cloud network architecture and automation
- Experience with scripting languages for infrastructure automation
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in data center operations
- Experience with container technologies
- Experience in automation and modern DevOps practices
- Experience with Source Code Control Management and CI/CD tools
- Experience with Cloud Platforms
- Experience in development of next-gen agentic AI ops agents
