Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Master's student to work on a thesis focused on innovative measurement and production technologies for future test systems.
You will analyse the potential of cutting-edge measurement and production technologies for future test systems, develop and scientifically evaluate new measurement and test concepts, and support simulations and analytical investigations into technical feasibility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing the potential of innovative measurement and production technologies for future test systems
- Developing and scientifically evaluating new measurement and test concepts
- Supporting simulations and analytical investigations into technical feasibility
- Contributing to the design and setup of demonstrators to validate new approaches at our site in Graz
- Investigating and testing selected technologies in our laboratory in Graz, alongside experts
- Evaluating measurement and simulation results to derive recommendations for future instrumentation and test systems
Requirements:
- Ongoing Master's studies in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Interest in innovative measurement, sensor, and production technologies
- Basic knowledge of sensors and additive manufacturing
- Experience with at least one 3D CAD system
- Knowledge of CFD advantageous
- Structured, independent, and analytical way of working
- Good German and English language skills
- Willingness to regularly attend laboratory work in Graz (mandatory)
