Description
We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to own Toast Ticketing end to end. Ticketing is in open beta: any restaurant on Tables Plus can turn it on themselves, guests buy tickets on the restaurant's public booking page, and the host scans them in at the door.
Responsibilities:
- Own the ticketing roadmap and strategy from open beta to general availability to scale
- Run the weekly build loop with engineering: framing problems, deciding what ships each week and why, and measuring results
- Learn where early customers get value and where they get stuck, and use that to decide what to double down on and what to drop
- Carry commercialization with GTM and leadership: pricing and packaging recommendations, rep enablement, and the funnel from enabled to first event to repeat seller
- Keep live customers healthy: enablement, tax configuration edge cases, and payment issues, owning escalations directly until a support motion exists
- Own the numbers the business runs on: restaurants selling tickets, ticket sales, and fee revenue
Requirements:
- 8+ years of product management experience, including owning a product or major product area and its results
- You've taken an early product from first customers to product-market fit and meaningful growth
- You can point to product decisions that came directly from time spent with customers
- You've owned a revenue product end to end: pricing conversations, GTM partnership, and executive communication, not just a backlog
- You pull your own numbers, set goals up front, and let the data change your mind
- You use AI tools regularly in your work and can explain specifically how
- You write and speak clearly for technical and non-technical audiences
