Description
We are seeking an experienced Night Supervisor to join our team at Soho House Rome.
The Night Supervisor will assist with checking members in to the property and hotel guests into their room, as well as streamlining various inquiries, risks and other matters that arise.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure every member is welcomed by their name and guest is welcomed with open arm and in a hospitable manner
- Receive payments and balance cash at end of shift
- Be primary point of initial contact for members, guests and staff
- Perform concierge duties, including booking cars, tickets to shows, restaurant reservations, spa reservations, etc.
- Answer incoming emails and inquiries via various digital portals
- Know the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout
- Communicate with all departments daily to stay updated on hours of operation, reservation restrictions and matters that will result in change of workflow
- Delegate support for members and guests to valet and luggage storage
- Understand the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows
- Prepare expected arrival list for front office use
- Update member and guests' profiles
- Be aware of all front office procedures
- Willingly undertake any reasonable request made by management
- Build positive relationships with members and guests
- Communicate and red flag any feedback to the management team
Requirements:
- Up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue
- Natural flair for first-class service
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service
- Organised and reliable
- Problem-solving skills and conflict resolution
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English and Italian (other languages highly valued)
