Early Career - Building Technology Systems

We are seeking an Early Career - Building Technology Systems to join our team in Arlington, VA.

This role involves working on high-profile projects, providing local technical assistance for smart building projects, and assisting with research, design, and installation of intelligent technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with collecting and analyzing data from physical work sites, surveys, and technical drawings.
• Perform basic professional building technology work, including conducting research and inspections of site conditions and systems.
• Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements, load calculations, and operating strategies.
• Assist with verifying site characteristics and providing technical assistance on smart building design and integration issues.
• Generate accurate and concise documentation and specifications.
• Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 0-1 year of relevant post-education experience.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with smart building design and technology.
• Competent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient self-leadership and multi-tasking abilities.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing and office automation software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Design experience related to audiovisual, electronic security, or structured cabling.
• Revit experience.
• Prior internship experience in a related field.

Compensation: $72,700 - $102,000 per year
