We are seeking a Senior Analyst - Automotive Sales Planning & Operations to join our team at American Honda Motor Company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day sales operations for Honda Sales, leading strategic planning for the Honda model lineup, and ensuring optimal success in supporting Honda Sales objectives.
The Senior Analyst will support initiatives across several departments, including Incentives, Marketing, PR, S&PP, and Seihan, through analytical data and project management expertise. This role leads new model planning efforts and collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve the best sales results for AHM.
Key accountabilities include:
- Leading strategic planning for sales forecasting, market share trends, inventory position, zone performance, and other key Honda Auto Sales KPIs to support sales growth, profitability, and dealer and field market demand.
- Managing and submitting Honda sales objectives for national, zone, and dealership operations nationwide.
- Providing analytical and planning support for the Honda Auto Sales budget.
- Leading day-to-day sales operations and providing guidance and feedback to planners and analysts.
- Supporting the Assistant Vice President of Honda National Sales through coordinated analysis, preparation of materials, and clear recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, postgraduate degree or education preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience required, with advanced knowledge of production planning and capacity management, data analysis, demand planning, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, planning, communication, and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, proficiency in lean-agile methodology, business intelligence (BI), Microsoft Word, and Access.
