Description
We are seeking a meticulous, customer-oriented, and committed Night Receptionist to join our team at Castelldefels, Barcelona.
As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during nighttime hours and maintaining high guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting procedures, including balancing transactions and preparing nightly reports.
- Verify and reconcile guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the night shift.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and incidents to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Generate and distribute financial and operational reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve guest issues.
- Monitor and update room inventory and availability.
- Manage credit card payments and other payment methods accurately.
- Perform additional reception duties as needed during the night shift.
- Prepare and open the breakfast buffet for the next morning.
- Serve beverages and products.
To support your success, you will receive training in all areas related to hotel reception, as well as safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Opera Cloud or similar hotel management systems is desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or other languages is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a similar role is valued.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Basic accounting knowledge and ability to manage financial transactions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the absence of daytime management.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and reception procedures.
