Senior DevOps Engineer

NVIDIA's infrastructure and DevOps team owns the software build, test, scan, and release process for their networking software products. They are seeking a senior DevOps engineer to work on CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based build fleets, and hardware-simulation environments.

The role involves designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux, Python, and Bash automation, as well as production experience with modern CI systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for networking software products
• Keep pipeline signal trustworthy and stable
• Operate and evolve build infrastructure, including Kubernetes-based CI runner fleets and container registries
• Integrate quality and security gates into every pipeline
• Automate provisioning of hardware- and simulation-based test environments
• Partner with developers, verification engineers, and lab and infrastructure teams
• Apply AI-assisted tooling to DevOps work

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, build and release, or infrastructure engineering roles
• Deep Linux skills, including shell fluency and process debugging
• Strong automation skills in Python and Bash
• Experience with modern CI systems, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container registries
• Familiarity with software quality and security tooling

Nice to have:

• Experience with C/C++ projects and high-performance networking
• Familiarity with AI agents and LLM tooling
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
