We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team at 3M's Hwaseong factory in Korea.
Job Description: As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in improving product cost, service, quality, process safety, health, and environmental impact.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Improve product cost, service, quality, process safety, health, and environmental impact
- Develop and apply statistical techniques to monitor and improve manufacturing processes
- Initiate and complete technical activities for new or improved products or processes with significant business impact
- Lead project planning to support successful execution and alignment with business needs
- Provide appropriate and timely documentation of technical work as required by the business unit
- Interact with other personnel to develop a network of resources to facilitate completion of assignments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 0-5 years of experience (less than 7 years of experience preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office and CAD (advanced Excel functionality, experienced PowerPoint user)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and stakeholders globally
