Description
We're looking for a Software Engineer, Agentic AI to join our EngineeringT0 Finance team at Airwallex. The role involves designing and deploying AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and multi-step reasoning systems. You will work on building an AI-native accounting platform that automates financial operations for businesses.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI models and systems for financial automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into financial workflows
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and compliance of AI systems
- Work on building and deploying AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or multi-step reasoning systems
- Balance innovation with reliability, scalability, and compliance
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in applied AI/ML engineering with production deployments
- Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow
- A track record of building and deploying AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or multi-step reasoning systems
- Understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and iteration in production AI systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or emerging open-source stacks
- Experience integrating AI reasoning into secure, production systems
- Experience building intelligent automation for payments, payroll, bookkeeping, tax, or other financial workflows

Compensation
- $120K – $200K per year
