Description
We are seeking an Operations Engineer to work with Linux, focusing on development and delivery of IT services, ensuring safe and stable operations.
As an Operations Engineer, you will have a varied role with broad responsibilities, including daily operations, monitoring, and alarm handling of infrastructure platforms, as well as driving development in your area.
Key responsibilities:
- Linux server operations
- Efficient and automated workflows and systems
- Monitoring and alarm handling of infrastructure platforms
- Patching and system updates
- 3rd line troubleshooting for infrastructure issues
- Working on projects for new technical solutions
- Lifecycle management and planning of IT infrastructure
Requirements:
- Forward-thinking and solution-oriented mindset
- Trustworthy and able to build trust within the team and with other departments
- Comfortable with change and striving for continuous improvement
- Good collaboration skills and humble attitude towards others
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Valid driver's license (B)
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with virtualization platforms
- Data storage and backup knowledge
- Windows server expertise
- Networking skills (switching, firewall, routing)
- Understanding of IT-related processes and frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
