Junior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our NPI Automation Department team. The department's main goal is to ensure efficient production of high-quality devices in the shortest possible time. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the quality of our hardware and software products, analyzing testing requirements, preparing checklists and test cases, identifying bugs, and conducting research.

Responsibilities:

• Improve the quality of hardware and software products for firmware and device testing in production;
• Analyze testing requirements for devices, software functionality, and test stands;
• Prepare checklists and test cases;
• Identify bugs and determine their causes using logs, debugging tools, and external manifestations;
• Conduct research and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and understanding of testing theory;
• Documentation skills: creating test cases, user scenarios, checklists, and bug reports;
• Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira);
• Basic knowledge of electronics, physics, and circuitry;
• Basic knowledge of REST API, HTTP;
• Understanding of database basics and basic MySQL skills;
• Willingness to travel periodically;
• English language skills at the level of reading documentation.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of version control systems (git);
• Basic understanding of the OSI model, particularly TCP and UDP protocols;
• Understanding of desktop and client-server applications;
• Experience in testing hardware projects.
