Description
We are seeking a Business Functional Analyst to join our team in Pune, India, focusing on Strategic Data Onboarding and supporting Strategic Data Initiatives across the new Capital program.
As a Business and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for end-to-end data analysis, including alignment of newly sourced data, checks during process steps, issue remediation, and analysis of reported data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Business and functional analysis for the Capital program and related Finance and regulatory transformation initiatives
- Assessing end-to-end current-state processes, data flows, controls, systems, and governance
- Data analytics and trend analysis
- Proactive management of month-end issues on regulatory metrics
- Definition and documentation of requirements
- Translating business requirements into data/system requirements
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical skills and experience in high-volume data analysis
- IT analytical skills, including SQL, Python, and Power BI
- Exposure to risk-weighted assets calculation domain and understanding of capital, financial, or regulatory reporting processes
- Practical experience of monthly, quarterly, and regulatory reporting cycles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple work streams
