Description
Millennium Space Systems, a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, is seeking a Program Scheduler (Level 3 or Level 4) to join their team in El Segundo, CA.
As a Program Scheduler, you will work with the program team to develop, baseline, and analyze the program schedule. Your responsibilities will include maintaining program schedules and deliverables, assisting in developing alternatives to accommodate changes to the program plan, and communicating any deviations of the current plan to the program team.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements.
- Perform studies, analysis, risk assessments, and trend analysis to determine impacts and constraints involving product development and production rates.
- Create schedules, reports, metrics, and communicate updates regularly throughout the lifecycle of the program or project.
- Work to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
- Direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in performing project planning and scheduling within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- 1+ years of experience with standard project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Project Server.
- Experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills, and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix team.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
- Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction.
Salary range:
- Level 3: $101,150-$136,850
- Level 4: $126,650-$171,350
