Description
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our Material Maintenance Operations team in San Antonio, TX.
The successful candidate will apply change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions, ensuring coordination in the supply chain using Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with various stakeholders, including customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers, and customers
- Incorporating Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan
- Verifying the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system
- Releasing and maintaining orders
- Documenting and resolving order delinquencies
- Reporting schedule adherence issues
- Applying developed solutions to inventory plans
- Analyzing and disposing of excess and obsolete inventories
- Creating schedules for products and services
- Coordinating and supporting process improvements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience working in an environment with competing and changing priorities
- 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service
- 1+ year of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management
- 1+ year of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management
- 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work variable shifts, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3+ years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
- 3+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
- 3+ years of experience with REDARS
The salary range for this position is $70,550 - $83,000.
