Description
Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests, answering questions on menu selections and communicating with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, recook orders, and product availability.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, inspect china, glass, and silver prior to use, and monitor assigned tables to ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
Follow company and safety policies, report accidents and injuries, and complete safety training and certifications.
Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address their service needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation.
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least 2 years of related work experience.
