Description
We are seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at Ajax Systems, a leading international technology company and Europe's largest security system manufacturer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quality standards, participating in contract negotiations, conducting inspections, evaluating supplier effectiveness, and coordinating technical audits.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing departmental quality standards
- Participating in contract negotiations, integrating technical requirements, warranty policies, and penalty systems for non-compliance with quality standards
- Conducting remote and on-site inspections
- Evaluating supplier effectiveness using Scorecards, managing the Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) process, and encouraging suppliers to improve their production processes
- Coordinating and conducting technical audits of suppliers, participating in their approval (AVL) or removal from the partner pool
- Improving packaging, storage, and transportation methods to minimize logistical losses
- Implementing the development strategy for the IQC/SQ direction and training the team of controllers
- Managing the engineering team to prevent material defects
Requirements:
- Higher technical education
- At least 3 years of experience in quality management (experience in electronics or system assembly is an advantage)
- Ability to read technical documentation and drawings fluently
- Proficient user of MS Office (Excel at the level of complex formulas/reports)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards (IATF 16949 is a plus)
- Intermediate level of English and above (ability to correspond and negotiate with foreign suppliers)
- Chinese language is a plus
- High communication skills, systematic decision-making, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, APQP, or PPAP
