Description
We are seeking a German speaking Graduate Translation Proofreader to join our international translation department at our Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire office.
As a German speaking Translator Proofreader, you will be responsible for:
- Word-by-word checking of translations prepared by technical staff
- Adapting existing translations to conform to new versions of documents
- General office work relating to the finishing and dispatch of translations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- English to mother tongue standard + fluent German
- Fluency in an additional language, such as French, Spanish, Dutch, Russian or Italian is an advantage but not essential
- Educated to degree/university level in a language discipline
- Ability to work quickly and proofread accurately
- Experience of TRADOS is an advantage but not essential
