Description
We are seeking a Russian speaking Translator Proofreader to join our client's international translation department. As a Russian speaking Translator Proofreader, you will be responsible for:
- Word-by-word checking of translations prepared by technical staff from English into Russian
- Adapting existing translations to conform to new versions of documents
- General office work relating to the finishing and dispatch of translations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Russian to mother tongue standard + fluent English
- Education to degree/university level in a language discipline
- Ability to work quickly and proofread accurately
- Experience of TRADOS is an advantage but not essential
- Full legal status to live and work in the UK without restriction
The salary for this role is £22,500, plus benefits including private healthcare, pension, and life assurance scheme.
