Description
As a Managing Director, Enterprise Sales Japan, you will report to the Japan Theater Vice President and General Manager. You are responsible for developing and executing the Enterprise segment sales strategy for Japan, working with various teams to maximise success for both Cisco and its enterprise customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Focus on customers' needs and outcomes
- Develop and execute a multi-year sales strategy and plan for Japan Enterprise business
- Align with Global and Regional strategies across Cisco portfolio
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support customers and the business
- Recruit and develop a high-performing and diverse team
- Represent Cisco as a spokesperson at internal and external engagements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 20+ years of sales and business development experience in the technology sector
- 10+ years in regional or country-level leadership roles
- Proven success in leading large, matrixed, and diverse teams
- Expertise in driving business transformation and navigating complex market transitions
- Strong blend of business and technical background
- Demonstrated success in architecting and driving multi-channel sales strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating as part of a senior leadership team
- Data-driven approach to pipeline, renewals, and growth
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience leading transformation initiatives, including AI or emerging technologies
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience
