At CNN's Digital Video team, you'll create original video content for all CNN platforms, working collaboratively to cover breaking news, trending topics, and important issues.
As an Intern, Digital Video, your responsibilities will include:
- Researching stories for digital platforms
- Finding fresh angles on news stories
- Monitoring breaking news, live events, and search/social trends
- Brainstorming and generating story ideas
- Assisting shoots in-office/studio with reporters on breaking news and news enterprise stories
To succeed in this role, you should be currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree, have a strong passion for video journalism, and be keen to develop strong editorial judgment skills in a fast-paced newsroom setting.
Ideal candidates must have the right of abode in Hong Kong or hold a valid student visa and No Objection Letter (NOL) from the Hong Kong Immigration Department. You should be able to commit to a full-time internship for 8 to 12 weeks.
