The Intern, News Reporting will join the News Reporting team, which delivers breaking news across CNN's platforms. The team works closely with others to provide multi-platform coverage of US and international news priorities.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with research, translation, finding interviewees, and conducting interviews
- Monitoring and pitching daily stories, and contributing writing
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong English skills; other language abilities, especially Chinese, are a plus
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree
- A strong passion for journalism and a desire to develop editorial judgment skills in a fast-paced newsroom setting
- The right of abode in Hong Kong or a valid student visa and No Objection Letter (NOL) from the Hong Kong Immigration Department
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for 8 to 12 weeks
