Description
Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to design and manage complex Salesforce solutions for customers. The ideal candidate will be a big-picture thinker and in-depth problem solver with broad and deep technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform
- Drive Enterprise AI Architecture by designing and integrating scalable predictive and generative AI solutions
- Lead technical design sessions and architect technical solutions aligned with client business objectives
- Champion an AI-first delivery methodology utilizing advanced AI tools and developer assistants
- Follow and help define coding standards while leading code reviews during projects
- Focus on Performance Evaluation & ROI by collaborating with customers to develop evaluation frameworks
- Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role
- Debug issues and leverage AI diagnostics to interpret system logs and isolate performance bottlenecks quickly
- Participate in pre-sales activities such as discovery and technical deep-dive sessions
- Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations
- Travel to client sites for projects, estimated 50-75%
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
- 14+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 8 years on the Salesforce platform
- Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite
- Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions
- Familiarity with platform authentication patterns and data integration tools
- Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
- Experience with platform security capabilities
- Practical fluency using AI coding assistants and modern development ecosystems
- Expert-level experience defining the system architecture landscape and delivering comprehensive solutions
- Strong background in design/development of large web-based systems or complete software product lifecycle exposure
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
