Priory Hospital Cardiff is seeking a bank staff nurse to join their team. This is a bank role with shifts available for days and nights.
Day shifts: 07:30 to 19:45 Night shifts: 19:30 to 07:45
Priory Hospital Cardiff is a modern mental health treatment unit featuring various facilities such as three secure gardens, a gym, a hydrotherapy pool, patient practice kitchens, patient social area, art rooms, and dedicated support service areas.
As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will be part of a compassionate team committed to patient wellbeing. You will assist qualified staff with assessing and implementing individual patient care plans, undertake routine tasks and activities as directed, and facilitate patient wellbeing, dignity, and treatment.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed care within an agreed framework.
- Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care with patients and their carers/families.
- Accurately observe and engage with patients to assess their needs and evaluate progress.
The successful candidate will have current NMC registration, completed a preceptorship programme, sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, and evidence of ongoing post-registration continuing professional development.
