Description
The Operations Manager - USD Cash Operations & Payments Investigations role is part of the USD Cash Operations team, which provides payment processing and investigation services to global Financial Institution (FI) and Corporate Clients. You will identify and prioritize product and service improvement opportunities, utilize comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations, and support bank strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize product and service improvement opportunities and create plans for implementation
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
- Support bank strategy, proactively identifying and managing areas of risk
- Maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including regulators, market vendors and internal divisions
- Communicate changes to operational requirements and their impact on relevant processes and controls
Leadership:
- Functions as Operations Lead with minimum guidance and accountable for ensuring day-to-day activities are aligned to the Business objectives, banks mission and strategic goals
- Ensures appropriate escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the department
- Responsible for the execution of all projects within payments while driving transformation and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Degree and/or some knowledge of Wire/ High Value Payment (HVP), Automated Clearing House (ACH), Checks Payment Processing is required
- High attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with deadlines, able to keep pace with technical innovation and maintain a broad understanding of the Business offering
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
